This engagement session was incredibly important one to me. Hayden, Trevor and I all went to high school together. Hayden and I were the type of students who talked non-stop in class (and probably got in trouble a couple times for it) and Trevor was on the team of hard-working editors in my Journalism class (my favorite class, for obvious reasons). I spent my early high school years growing up with Hayden, and I got to spend my later high school years, and all of the years since, getting to know Hayden and Trevor as a couple. They compliment each other so well and I am so proud to call both of them my friends.
Hayden and Trevor wanted to take some photos on the waterfront in Downtown Portland, which is an important spot to them. So we started out on the east side at the Eastbank Esplanade. Then we made our way over to the west side and caught the very tail end of the remaining cherry blossoms. Hayden had a vision in mind that he wanted some night time photos – and I’m SO glad we stuck around and waited for the sun to go down. We walked along the waterfront and stopped to grab a couple photos in front of the iconic Portland, Oregon sign. Here are a few photos from one of my favorite engagement shoots of all time. <3
