When Hunter and Vanessa, one of my incredible 2025 wedding couples, asked me to fly out for an engagement session in Joshua Tree, California, I couldn’t say yes fast enough! The gorgeous landscape, golden light, and adventurous vibe of Joshua Tree are a photographer’s dream.
So I packed up my camera bag, hopped on a plane and met them in Palm Springs, California. Hunter, Vanessa and I stayed in a charming Airbnb in 29 Palms. Once we were ready to shoot, we took the rental car and navigated our way to beautiful Joshua Tree National Park. As we drove, the sun began to dip lower behind the beautiful Joshua Tree landscape. We pulled over at a few different locations to take some photos of Vanessa and Hunter with the most beautiful golden hour light.
The next morning, I grabbed my camera and spent about 10 minutes with Vanessa and Hunter over their morning coffee. We decided the Airbnb vibes were just too cute to pass up!
